Auguste Phily-Priou, founder
I'm Auguste, I'm 27, and I'm building Ecleptic almost single-handedly. I'm not a doctor: I'm someone who took his health back into his own hands and wanted to understand what actually works.
I smoked for eleven years, from 14 to 25, and quit at the end of 2024. In 2025 I went back to regular exercise, without chasing intensity, learned to eat better, and started optimising pretty much every part of my life. That's where my Instagram handle comes from: @_optimisateur.
Ecleptic grew out of that: connecting what is usually tracked separately, sleep, food and training, to understand how each one affects the others, and to know every morning what really matters.
How the articles are written
- A real question, a straight answer. Every article starts from a question people actually ask, and answers it in the first sentence.
- Sourced numbers. Benchmarks come from published sources: learned societies (National Sleep Foundation, American Academy of Sleep Medicine…), studies and meta-analyses, official databases such as the ANSES Ciqual table or USDA FoodData Central. Every article lists its sources, and the method pages list their references.
- Health guardrails. No diagnosis, no dosing. As soon as a topic becomes medical (heart, deficiencies, mental health, pregnancy), the article points you to a health professional.
- Dated updates. When an article changes in substance, its update date appears under the title.
Spotted an error, a more recent study, something to clarify? Write to me at contact@ecleptic.app: I check, I correct, and the correction is dated.
Ecleptic in brief
Ecleptic is an iOS wellness app, in private beta. It brings your sleep, nutrition and training together into one score, every morning. It does not replace medical advice and is not a medical device. The publisher and host of this website are listed in the legal notice.
